LD50 Deluxe Lightning/Storm Detector is sensitive enough to start detecting thunderstorms from up to 70 miles away and indicates if the storm is moving towards, away, or parallel to your location. It can be used alongside your other weather monitoring equipment to track a storm front, or may be carried for outdoor use. The unit is made of a rugged, weather-resistant plastic case with audible alarms and LEDs that sequence at distance intervals of 20 to 40 miles, 8 to 20 miles, 3 to 8 miles, and 0 to 3 miles.
