The Data Station Plus is designed to act as a nexus for industrial data collection and management. With three built-in serial ports and a 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX Ethernet port, the unit performs protocol conversion, allowing disparate devices to communicate seamlessly with one another. The Data Station Plus functions both as a data management platform and as a PFM host.
The Ethernet port supports up to four protocols simultaneously so even Ethernet-to-Ethernet protocol conversion may be performed. The CompactFlash card allows new configuration files to be loaded into the Data Station Plus or use to data log critical information. The USB port may be used for fast file downloads, or to mount the Data Station’s CompactFlash card as an external drive to your PC.
The Plant Floor Marquees (PFMs) provide an effective way to increase productivity by providing real-time process metrics and other vital information to your people on the production floor. Large tri-color format is easy to read from a distance and allows for use of bar graphs, customer symbols, and verbiage. PFMs feature RS-485 ports that support multi-drops throughout the plant. Operate on 110 VAC, 60 Hz.
Note: All PFMs require a DSPSX000 Data Station Plus to manage and drive the displayed information.
