TestCoat Coat Thickness Gauge w/RS-232 Memory Software

This combination gauge, with its two integrated probes, non-destructively measures coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.

There is no on/off switch. The special design of the instrument, with its duplex display and 10-second retention of the last-measured value, facilitates measurements in hard-to-reach corners.

The gauge is equipped with a non-wearing ruby probe-tip to ensure long life and precision of measurement. The “V”-groove facilitates measurements on rods and other curved surfaces. The unit is powered by a 9 Volt battery.

The Deluxe Model also offers memory, block segmentation, instant averaging and RS-232 download capability. Software and patchcord come included with this gauge which stores up to 3900 measurements, blocks the data and provides an average thickness right on the display. The Deluxe Model downloads the measurements to a menu-guided software program that lists measurements, provides statistics and displays a histogram.
